Broadcast

A message would be sent to all online players.

This spell would broadcast a message that would appear in grey on the text console of all online players, similarly to messages broadcast by gamemasters.

This spell required magic level 4 to cast it.

This spell is referenced in a book found in Isle of the Kings.

Its original mana cost was only 30 mana. During the spam caused by the massive use of this spell, its mana cost was changed to 60 in December 05, 2000. It was again necessary to change its mana cost, this time from 60 to 90 mana, some time between late 2001 and the first half of 2002 (Updates 6.4 and 6.61-6.97).

Before Update 6.5, the broadcast message would appear on the Game Window of all online players.
This spell was removed on August 21, 2002, shortly before the 7.0 update.
