Regarding Protection
The protection of quest articles is after a long series of vandalism.[1] It is unlikely we will unprotect all permanently or even temporarily. Ask another administrator if you need to make an edit / request individual unprotection.
- ^ Yes I needed to mention this because apparently the message on the protection log is obscure and does not convey meaning.

H.L. and women
The templates need to be fixed, as H.L. does accept trades with female characters, depsite the dialogue suggesting the contrary. -- Ryo205 18:39, March 18, 2015 (UTC)
If that is the case, it certainly has been changed. I remember years ago (when you still traded by saying "buy <item name>"), he didn't even speak with my female character. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 21:19, March 18, 2015 (UTC)
I'll check it out when I get home if nobody does it sooner. Maybe there was an error in CipSoft's NPC scripting when they introduced the trade system. -- Sixorish (talk) 23:05, March 18, 2015 (UTC)
AbuseFilter~Vapaus
hi sixorish, i was reverting a few spammers edits yesterday and got blocked by the abuse filter on my user Vapaus- can you please unblock and maybe edit a codition to abuse filter not to block rollbacks?
thanks in advance, TempV (talk) 07:39, March 27, 2015 (UTC) (vapaus)
Hi Vapaus. There are no logs of your block. I guess you mean you lost autoconfirmed status which is preventing you from editing some semi-protected articles. I have reverted that so you should be able to edit most pages again.
Sorry that the filter caught you. I'll try to edit the conditions so that it doesn't affect you in the future, although it will be tricky. -- Sixorish (talk) 07:55, March 27, 2015 (UTC)
thanks,
P.s
im not sure i can track all the vandalized pages, it goes back from some time maybe you can remove all pages with either :"{{:Bu}}/{{:HU}}/{{:BU}}" in them, i think i removed at least most of it but i cant be sure, they just put that at the beginning of many pages and later came and edited those spam pages to contain their keylogger~ link.
Vapaus
We can use Special:WhatLinksHere/Bu to find those (although a lot of entries are caused by transclusions), as far as I can see all of those have been removed. -- Sixorish (talk) 09:05, March 27, 2015 (UTC)
VandalWarn.js
I think that maybe the warning should appear on all articles that have been edited since (approximately) 3 weeks ago, i don't see a reason for it to be on all articles that are not by admins or so, this is kind of what wiki is about, also maybe remove some articles from protected status since probably most of it had been protected for a specific reason in a specific time e.g a new item at a time where people kept changing the price in order to gain money which is irrelevant nowadays. just some thoughts :)
~ Vapaus (talk) 20:38, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
Hey Vapaus, thanks for your concern.
I agree we shouldn't assume everyone except administrators are guilty. The message is not intended to label editors as shady, it's supposed to inform the readers that the page might be a target of the vandalism that's been affecting us. It is hoped that the reader will look at the content and then decide for themselves if it is a target of vandalism.
I have adjusted the script so that it will only warn the users if the page has been edited in the last 7 days. This will allow us 7 days to fix the vandalism before it becomes "trustworthy". The whitelist will remain but eventually all edits will become trusted by their age. This will at least allow some protected articles that haven't been edited in a long time to be considered as trusted. -- Sixorish (talk) 06:37, April 7, 2015 (UTC)
Deletion
Hey Six, How did you delete Message_Wall:Scripts/Common.js? I saw no delete button. Or did you append &action=delete to the url or something? -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 12:13, April 13, 2015 (UTC)
I'm using monobook. It doesn't care for the Message Wall: namespace. But I suppose you could do ?action=delete on Wikia's skin. -- Sixorish (talk) 12:19, April 13, 2015 (UTC)
Autoblock mistake..?
Hey,
One of our contributors (User:Cauli92) messaged me in game and said he had accidentally been autoblocked after diverting vandalism. I don't see anything wrong with his account (which doesn't appear to be blocked). As the recently blocked user Zareba had two associated IPs banned with him, I figured one of them must have been Cauli's. I unblocked one which appears to have done nothing for him (no idea how to reblock it, sorry). I don't want to risk unblocking the other adress. Could you take a look?

Infobox Building
Hey, I added the location parameter "back" to the new Template:Infobox Building, but I can imagine you imagined this to be different. E.g. like NPCs with a minimap or just the info in the infobox to the right. What do you think? -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 21:18, June 8, 2015 (UTC)
I didn't think of that but it might be a really good idea. -- Sixorish (talk) 22:42, June 8, 2015 (UTC)
Template:Infobox Item Borderlines
There are only two purchasable non-pickupable items (Football and Heavy Ball) and their only relevant trade property is the npcprice value which is also in Template:Price to Buy transcluded by buyfrom parameter. Since 1) the info is already displayed by buyfrom, 2) they are only 2 items, and 3) it's only one trade property, I changed the condition to show trade properties from movable=yes to pickupable=yes. I was selecting relevant information for our visitors. Reflecting about it, by the same approach the stackable parameter shouldn't be displayed for unpickupable items, but again, we have exceptions. Trying to find a general approach for borderlines, what do you think by hiding the display by default and using another condition (buyfrom>0 or stackable=yes) for cases like these? If you don't see any problem with this, I'll provide you a list of possible borderlines so you can adapt the template for them.
By the way, I've only seem items using immobile instead of movable, so the condition you mean should be immobile=no.
Hunter of Dragoes (Talk · Contribs · Admins) - 10:14, June 15, 2015 (UTC)
My bad with immobile, I'm so out of touch ...
I don't think it's a good generalization to make. Some mobile but nonpickupable items have a value (player value, that is). Dragon Throne for example, players might negotiate a price in-game for an unpackaged throne. These items can still have an inherent value, but according to this rule it's irrelevant and does not need mention. We could hide just the NPC price/value but personally I think we should include all to be thorough... the only time all of this is irrelevant is for completely immobile items.

White List Request
Could I be whitelisted? I noticed I cannot edit some pages, and when I edit others it shows a huge warning message about possible vandalism.
Sure, you're whitelisted now. :)

Achievement DPL
Six, is there a way DPLs can be coded to take parameter info as input and then create an output based on this info (rather than just displaying parameter info)? Having the Achievement DPL display a tick or a cross for the 'premium' and 'secret' parameters and treat 'grade' the same way lists do would be swell, and the best of both worlds... -- Wouterboy (talk) 10:37, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
Only way I think this is possible is to use phantom templates.
- |include={Infobox Achievement}/DynamicList
And insert a tablerow in Template:Infobox Achievement/DynamicList. -- Sixorish (talk) 10:47, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
So (if I understand correctly), such templates find out how to interpret parameter info by consulting another template? Would the only difference between Template:Infobox Achievement/DynamicList and Template:Infobox Achievement/List be that the former can be consulted in this way but the latter cannot?
Also, I figure something similar would be needed for Book DPLs, as they (unlike lists) don't display the pictures of book types. Moreover, it would also have to accept input from multiple 'booktype' parameters. Unfortunately, though, I can't do any coding myself... <insert puppy eyes> -- Wouterboy (talk) 11:23, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
I created the DynamicList phantom template. Is that what you were after? -- Sixorish (talk) 11:45, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
And as for your question ... I'm really not sure what you're asking. Sorry. I'll try to explain.
DPL:
- includepage=Rabbit
- include={Infobox Creature}/A
Includes Rabbit and searches for the (first?) template call of "Infobox Creature", and then calls the subtemplate, Template:Infobox Creature/A, instead of the Template:Infobox Creature, with the parameters on Rabbit. The subtemplate, Template:Infobox Creature/A, is responsible for generating the content such that DPL can understand it. -- Sixorish (talk) 11:53, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, I meant 'calling' with 'consulting'.
It looks awesome now, except that the 'grade' column would look better if the symbols were put in the middle of their cells and three of them in the same cell would all be next to one another (but these are really nitpicks considering how much greater it looks now). Thank you! -- Wouterboy (talk) 12:12, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
That book DPL is awesome, thank you. However, is it possible to have the first column display the page name without the ' (Book)' instead of the title (in both lists and DPLs)? The fact that there are so many books without a proper title (and are thus 'Untitled') makes that a much better option. -- Wouterboy (talk) 15:26, July 5, 2015 (UTC)
I could do that but it would be very slow to perform. Page name - no problem, without the ' (Book)' we need to perform slow string operations, and on lists that's not a good idea. For your purposes it might not take a big hit from performance but on larger lists - where DPL is more needed - it can become a big deal. Books have always been weird, they don't follow the standards we use for other content. I don't see any issue in having the ' (Book)' suffix in the lists, at least until we can standardize the templates. -- Sixorish (talk) 16:09, July 5, 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, I already figured that making code do stuff like excluding part of the parameter info would be quite unnatural. I just adjusted the DPL so that it displays the entire page name, which is redundant (as the lists would only appear in libraries and under 'New Documents' headings etc.) but still much better than before (and also much better than having performance issues replace pet peeves, for that matter). Thank you!
Edit: forgot about changing the list code and both headers, but that's also done now. -- Wouterboy (talk) 18:27, July 5, 2015 (UTC)
Sixorish, because of your update to the object DPL the one for Tiles doesn't work correctly anymore (the second column displays the name again instead of the picture). I know it's an easy fix, but when I tried to do it myself things backfired... I have reverted those edits. -- Wouterboy (talk) 09:43, July 6, 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for spotting that, I took care of it. -- Sixorish (talk) 09:52, July 6, 2015 (UTC)
Map files
http://tibia.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Updates/10.8#Mapping_10.8 suggests you do a lot of exploring/mapping. Do you use the TibiaMaps.org downloads or have you mapped everything yourself? Would you mind sharing your map files (publicly or privately with me)? I’m asking because they might help me resolve https://github.com/tibiamaps/tibia-map-data/issues/1. Thanks in advance.
Hey Mathias,
I do explore new places myself, but I convert them to *.png and merge them with our full maps, so: yes, we explore stuff ourselves, but no, we don't have the full map files. The PNGs don't contain path data, so I don't believe they will be any use to you. -- Sixorish (talk) 01:40, July 8, 2015 (UTC)
Sure, but don’t you have a local `Automap` folder?
I do, but it's very empty... Here is my surface map for Test Server. For the regular Tibia it's a bit better, but still very bad. -- Sixorish (talk) 04:27, July 8, 2015 (UTC)
Would you mind sharing the `Automap/*.map` files for the regular Tibia server?
Interesting to read your github and site about map Mathias! I didn't know map files had path data. What I always thought would be a cool feature (in combination with our Mapper) is a tool which suggests travelling routes from place A to place B, including the amount of squares you have to walk and the time it takes. Good to know the data is there. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 07:01, July 8, 2015 (UTC)
Here are my map files hosted on Google Drive. Let me know when you get the file so I can remove it. I'm guessing you just want to test your script to see if the white rectangles are there? You can search Tibiacast for recordings and use that, since it just captures packets and the client creates the map. -- Sixorish (talk) 07:37, July 8, 2015 (UTC)
Thanks a lot, Sixorish! You can remove the file now. Btw, your maps have some data for the affected area and they don’t show the crazy white rectangles, which confirms my suspicion that the TibiaMaps.org maps got mangled at some point. @Bennie: if you have any self-explored maps, feel free to send them over as well. For Science™!
Mouldy Cheese
IF you do Postman quest then you say "Sniff moldy cheese" not mouldy.
IF you look at the cheese it says " 12:21 You see a moldy cheese.
It weighs 4.00 oz. "
- 19:15 You see a mouldy cheese. It weighs 4.00 oz.
- Market says mouldy cheese.
- None of our loot statistics pages reference moldy cheese.
-- Sixorish (talk) 11:20, September 3, 2015 (UTC)
He's right, tho. It must be the typo in game that should be reported, I will forward it to someone, thanks.
Cauli92 (talk) 18:03, September 3, 2015 (UTC)
It was called moldy cheese in the past, which explains why some of our old (but none of the modern) loot statistics refer to moldy cheese. Question is, how did he find the look text to be "moldy cheese"? Maybe some game servers (preview servers?) have different item attributes? -- Sixorish (talk) 01:41, September 4, 2015 (UTC)
Overview and Spoilers
Hey Sixorish
I got a question about the wiki. I noticed some quest pages have 2 links: the quest, and the addition of "/Spoiler" to the end of the link.
I edited a small fix to one of the pages, and it only shows up on the "/Spoiler" page. Are the pages not linked?
Also, about page editing: should I fix small errors I encounter, or should I bring them up in the 'talk' section and let someone else fix them?
Thanks,
Mahatesh (talk) 08:03, September 5, 2015 (UTC)Mahatesh
Hey
The two pages are linked, but the database doesn't update it automatically. To force a page to update you can add the text: "?action=purge" to the URL. If this is about your recent edit to In Service of Yalahar Quest/Spoiler, please see your talk page because I reverted your edit. If that doesn't fix it, link me to an example and I'll check it out.
About page editing: you don't need to ask for permission to fix errors. If you're making a big change that might cause issues it's a good idea, but if it's simple there's no reason you can't just do it. Thanks for your contributions so far. -- Sixorish (talk) 08:09, September 5, 2015 (UTC)
I think instead of purging you can also do a null-edit: click on edit and then click on save, without making any change. This will update the cache as well. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 08:50, September 5, 2015 (UTC)
Accidental banning of user
Hey there Sixorish A few days ago the user Mahatesh has noticed a vandalism act on several pages, and worked on reverting the changes. He did not know that reverting the pages too fast would get him flagged as a vandal himself. Could you please unblock him?
Thanks a bunch Kontractor (talk) 16:53, September 6, 2015 (UTC)Kontractor
Done, sorry about that. I've altered the rule slightly so it won't do that in the future. -- Sixorish (talk) 02:18, September 7, 2015 (UTC)
Midnight Asura and Dawnfire Asura
Good Evening Sir. I added 3 items to loot of Midnight Asura and Dawnfire Asura. I have screen shot of loot msg in tibia that i loot those items from this monsters if you want to see them.
Best Regards,
Skrzydlaty (talk) 16:10, October 18, 2015 (UTC)
Hey Skrzydlaty!
We have these items in loot statistics, so it's definitelly not necessary to post any kind of confirmation, thanks a lot for helping us out on this one!
@Six Now that I think of it, do You think it would be possible to make Sixbot find all the differences between monster loots and most recent loot statistics? If yes, do you think it would be possible for you to give it a shot in a free moment? Sorry for throwing it at you, but afaik you would be the only person capable of it! Great job on the speed parameter btw! Didn't even know it was possible to find it out. :p
Cauli92 (talk) 17:22, October 18, 2015 (UTC)
Hey Cauli,
While that is certainly possible it would take a bit more time to write such a script than I am able to commit right now.
Regarding speed: normally it's not available to the user, but the Tibia client does receive this information in packets. I'll send you an email. -- Sixorish (talk) 00:59, October 19, 2015 (UTC)
Olriosek (talk) 21:12, October 19, 2015 (UTC)
I edited Hellfire Fighter back to last version becouse there was an issue in code and HFF wasn't loading correctly (the page was empty).
The user User:Polarny31 has been spamming several articles, could you please revert his vandalism please?
Monster speed
How did you tracked down monster speed? I'm really curious, I've seen that you've said that client send packets from which you can read monster speed, could you tell me how to do it?
Thanks in advance.
Hey, you'd need to use some kind of third-party software that can read Tibia network packets or a memory editor (which might be risky to use). I've written a program that does this, but since it could potentially be used for illegal/unethical purposes I'd rather not discuss that, sorry. -- Sixorish (talk) 06:19, December 8, 2015 (UTC)
rename pair of hellflayer horns
Hello since I have no permission to edit names in wiki I am writing to you. Can you rename Pair Of Hellflayer Horns page to Pair of Hellflayer Horns? Since it is bugging Hellflayers loot.
Thanks for noticing. -- Wouterboy (talk) 17:33, December 11, 2015 (UTC)
Spam filter blocking all posts on admin talk page
Hi Sixorish! I think I've played with you on Calmera, I can't link my screenshot for the below reason but here is the imgur url: 5bxtWtG
Anyway, I am trying to leave this message under the 'Mapper' section of the admin talk page, but it is getting blocked by the spam filter no matter what (i tried removing links, even not signing, nothing works):
Are you sure it got fixed? All the mapper links I've seen on the wiki still point to the wrong places, for example all the links on the Dawnport Quest page.Dragon Legacy (talk) 00:11, March 25, 2016 (UTC)
Edit: Actually it's even clearer on the Lugri page, since you can see where it should be, which is quite south of where the link actually points to.
Hey Varixai,
I checked your abuse log entries and it seems you're editing a lot of content that isn't your contribution (e.g. you're editing out spaces at the end of User:Mathias' messages). I would guess that this is because of an editor you're using. I have (hopefully) resolved that because the links Mathias added should not be blocked anyway.
I checked Dawnport Quest and Lugri, and as far as my knowledge goes the maps are accurate. Can you confirm that they are (or aren't)? They might have needed time to update. However, those maps are using our old maps so they will need to be changed anyway. -- Sixorish (talk) 04:25, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
I can confirm that at the time Varixai posted this the maps were yet to become accurate again. -- Wouterboy (talk) 13:41, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
The Mapper coordinates were indeed fixed within 2 hours of me posting that. That's weird about the spaces and such. Probably caused by using the default wikia visual editor. I'll just edit the source code like I do on other wikis and see if that helps. Thanks for looking at it. Dragon Legacy (talk) 19:14, March 31, 2016 (UTC)
CSS thing
Hey Sixorish,
I never replied to your message about the code review, but thanks for the information, I didn't know that. Something else now; Some months ago you made this edit (or possible another edit caused my issue) which causes tables with red links to images be extremely high. I know you tried to solve the issue the table cells would be very wide, as wide as the red link text, but now they are very high, as high as the red link text with each character on a new line. It looks ugly as hell and makes you scroll endlessly long in tables with missing images. I tried some stuff with overflow and max-height, but to no avail. Can you give a hint? -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 07:46, April 16, 2016 (UTC)
Got an example? Tried looking through your contributions but can't find what you're talking about exactly. -- Sixorish (talk) 09:08, April 16, 2016 (UTC)
E.g. Updates/8.6#New_Objects, Observation Slit has no image and the red link displays in the table. But I already found it has to do with the hyperlink class "new" display block property. I don't know what the best fix is, showing the red link inline will make the table cell wider. Maybe add font-size: smaller to this class will already reduce the problem? -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 09:27, April 16, 2016 (UTC)
Problem was with Wikia's CSS:
.WikiaArticle { word-wrap: break-word; }
Pretty sure this rule was added quite recently. Anyway, I applied a fix which will apply whenever Wikia's servers serve the latest revisions. -- Sixorish (talk) 09:55, April 16, 2016 (UTC)
Thanks a bunch! Good looking solution, I'm happy :) -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 10:10, April 16, 2016 (UTC)
Amenities
Hey Sixorish,
I was wondering if you know the following; why does the Template:Infobox Building use the parameter "amenities", but all (?) building pages use the parameter "furnishings". These are meant to be the same thing, don't they? -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 09:58, July 6, 2016 (UTC)
There is one very important reason why this was changed. Unfortunately, this reason was lost around March 28, 2015. I swear, there was a good reason for this change!
Good find, thanks. -- Sixorish (talk) 10:19, July 6, 2016 (UTC)
Haha! Thx :) -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 10:44, July 6, 2016 (UTC)

Hello can you take a look and see why calculators are not loading thank you very much VaquinhaLeitera (talk) 17:57, September 17, 2017 (UTC)
Calculator error
Hi there!
I noticed that you were working on the Calculator code at the same time I was - which was quite a coincidence! Apologies if that resulted in any issues while you were working on the code.
My colleagues asked me to investigate why the calculator code wasn't working, and I've thankfully managed to finally nail down the issue: the script was no longer being loaded at the correct stage of the page load, and the lazy loaded images weren't being added properly. I've pushed a fix to the code and it seems to be working fine for me now (be sure to enable JavaScript test mode): Calculators.
If you're satisfied with the fix, I will gladly approve the code. My apologies if my simultaneous editing caused any issues and I'd also like to extend my apologies for any inconvenience the breaking of the calculator code may have caused. Mark (talk) 04:05, January 26, 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for the clarification! While I see the issue you mentioned, that fix does not appear to resolve the code issue in the Oasis skin. While the page is functional in Monobook, the lazy loading and load time of the code do appear to still cause issues outside of Monobook. As for which revision is used - that is of course entirely up to you: feel free to submit your preferred version. Mark (talk) 04:40, January 26, 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for fixing the Calculators page! I see you mentioned there was at least two issues, one with the lazy loading and the other with the item list ID. Do you know why it used to work and suddenly these issues prevented it even to load?
I noticed two other issues:
- When I select Show non protective items, the image for Ancient Tiara is not displayed in the helmets list. Coincidentally, this is the first item in alphabetical order in this list.
- The damage simulation does not allow base hits > 9999. (I wanted to simulate Gaz'haragoth's 30,000 hit.)
Hunter of Dragoes (Talk · Contribs · Admins) - 11:53, January 26, 2018 (UTC)
Damage simulation issue - fixed by User:Molx.
Ancient Tiara issue - fixed. Lazy Loading seems to be broken still with some images not using lazy loading at all. This image, in particular, happened to be the first image of this section of the page. The fix was to use data-src and fall back to src.
As for why the calculators used to work - timing of execution. Rendering for Oasis replaces src for data-src, which is not rendered by browsers. When the page loads, the contents of all images' data-src attributes is moved to src, prompting the browser to download and render these images. The execution cycle had calculators running before the src attributes were populated, hence there was no src when the calculators script was loading. MarkvA resolved this by using data-src instead of src in the few places where image srcs are taken from the DOM. As for the wrong ID bug, User:Rappy 4187 introduced this here, hence the calculators have been unusable since January 17th on Monobook (but longer on Oasis due to Lazy Loading).

Wiki Manager
Hi Sixorish,
I thought I would reach out to you, since you are one of the administrators here. I have recently been appointed as the Wiki Manager for this wiki. I am here to assist this community in an official capacity and act as a liaison between you, and full-time Fandom staff. If you, or any other users of this wiki ever have an issue or question related to the wiki (editing, templates, wiki design, or any other matters related to Fandom), please feel free to contact me on my message wall, and I will assist in any way I can.

Spanish Wiki Revival
Hi! I'm currently working to help Spanish Gaming wikis, and like you currently know, like this community the Spanish Tibia Wiki is one of the biggest. Unfortunately, it's currently abandoned, and although there are some people editing it doesn't have admins and a built community to going forward. I've also seen that you already helped that wiki in the past.
During these next days, my priority will be update its content and Design, plus adding some current features that the wiki didn't add in the past. Additionally, I'll be contacting its current users and readers in order to encourage them to edit and build a new community together.
As Fandom wikis are typically working together across languages (and Tibia wikis are an example for that), I'm contacting with all of the admins of this community that already helped the Spanish one to share that news. With your permission, I'm using some content and assets from your wiki to adapt them easily for the Spanish one. If someone of you don't agree with that, please feel free to mention and I'm building it from the scratch.
Besides that, all the help that I could receive from your community will be hugely welcome. For instance, I'm not sure if some of your current readers or editors also know and speak Spanish, and they just chose that wiki because is bigger and active. If you already know some of your editors that also speak Spanish, please report me in order to talk with them and also contribute with the Spanish wiki.
Thank you very much for your attention! --CuBaN VeRcEttI (Contacta) 11:47, June 10, 2019 (UTC)
The Monthly Opt-In and Invitation

RE: Modified Gnarlhounds
Hi Sixorish
You're right, sorry, I did mis-read the article and my explanation of my change was false. You make a good point that the armor of the gnarlhounds may be the reason for never landing a physical hit that deals damage, so then I suppose it would be more correct to put 0% with a question mark after it since it is unknown just how strong your skill has to be to land a purely physical hit.
Similarly, there are other creatures that are also "immune" to physical damage, such as spectral scums, and most notably, the "Servant Golem" located in Yalahar's quest reward area. Although these creatures do not take damage from physical attacks from burst arrows and diamond arrows (nor melee weapons with purely physical attack values), they do indeed progress distance training. I have gained over 5 distance skill levels, maybe 10, shooting burst arrows at the Servant Golem in Yalahar. It has to do with the mechanic of the "physical" element that is associated with these two arrows. They are unique in this way, because from all the research I have done, this is not the same story for physical melee hits (I don't know why it's different, I just know that the melee skill does not increase with poofs and sparks; you must actually deal damage to a creature on a consistent basis to advance a melee skill). The arrows do not bleed the creatures or reduce their HP but the attacks still increase your distance skill at a consistent rate which, when I calculated the rate of change in my skill over many many hours, is equal to the time it would take to deal the amount of combat hits required to advance my distance skills.
The reason I mention the stuff in the previous paragraph is because other creatures with known physical immunity still increase your skill using those 2 special arrows, so although this does not necessarily prove that the modified gnarlhound is totally immune to physical, it is some pretty good evidence. Furthermore, they have never been reported to take damage from a physical attack. So where the page says "Damage taken from elements" it is arguably more correct to say 0% from physical. Putting 10% gives an impression that knights can gain melee skill without an elemental factor on their melee weapon and this is known to be false.
After writing this all out, I have realized the best solution to solve the question of their physical resistance would be for someone with the completed bestiary entry to get the true value and enter it in.
