Back
So, I'm back again. Not as active as before, but still back.

Object
I thought we defined an object as something that cannot be taken. Our item template does not support these nonmovable or nontakeable items (it requires npcvalue, npcprice, weight, value ... this item cannot be given any of these) so I think they fit better under the object category. My main concern is the inability to filter these from DPL with |category=Items. -- Sixorish (talk) 16:56, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
The shovel can actually be moved around, but not picked up, just like a football or most furniture. I consider it an item.

The Mutated Pumpkin spawning times since a few years back
Hi Art! Please edit the page and add the following "The Mutated Pumpkin spawns every 4 hours after server save." 10.09, 14.09, 18.09, 22.09, 02.09, 06.09 for the three days~ that the event is active. Thanks!

The minutes vary between worlds, for example, on Fidera it spawned 10:13, 14:13 and so on.
I've added a note about it spawning every 4 hours to the article. Thank you! —Arkshi (Talk | contribs) 01:55, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
Adding category
Why don't you let the template add categories to those items? -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 19:17, April 5, 2013 (UTC)
Hum, how exactly does that work? I'm not good with templates.
Art Featherpitch (talk) 07:53, April 6, 2013 (UTC)
I added it for you (see here), little explanation: IF the itemclass parameter equals to "body equipment" and IF the levelrequired parameter has a value, THEN add the category. The code looks a bit confusing at first, because the two statements are nested. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 11:02, April 6, 2013 (UTC)
Very interesting. Thanks!

Hey, thank you for the info :p I actually started posting those things and a few minutes later I was like "Am I doing it right?" hehe... Anyway, where do you think I could post the links for those tibia.com creature info? Maybe in "Field Notes" section? Take care :)

Movies for hunting grounds
Hiho Arty, i think about adding videos to each of the hunting grounds, if i have enought time from different views (mainly ed/rp/ek and maybe teamhunts). Is that a good idea? I think it would help ppl getting used to the place. Any tipps on what NOT to do or what i should do if i do that?
thx for your time

2 pages needs to be moved
They have the wrong name and i cant seem to be able to move them i guess you need to be administrator Spectral Traveler should be called Spectral Traveller and Umbral Harbringer should be called Umbral Harbinger atleast thats the real name of the achievements on tibia.com

'Traveller' is the British version of the word, so that has been changed. 'Harbinger' isn't an English word at all, so that's just a typo. -- Wouterboy (talk) 11:46, October 31, 2014 (UTC)
DPL Performance Improvements: Testing Next Week
Hello,
In recent weeks, our engineering staff has been reworking some code of the DynamicPageList (DPL) extension in order to correct a bug and, by extension, dramatically improve query performance, speeding up article page load times.
We are intending to push that change live on your wiki Monday, May 13th. This change should be invisible - the actual wikitext nor the visual output of DPL queries is expected to change. We are confident this should be a smooth rollout due to testing we did prior to this stage. However, as your community is one of the largest on Fandom using DPL, I wanted to proactively inform you of this change so you can be on the lookout for any unexpected problems.
If next week you notice any sort of unusual issues with DPL, please report them immediately through Special:Contact. You can refer to "PLAT-8725" in any bug reports to help us more efficiently triage the concern.
Thanks! --TimmyQuivy (help forum | blog) 16:11, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
