Shoots a powerful, 8 square long beam directly in front of the caster.
Notes
The Energy Beam continues to be a favourite among sorcerers. For this reason, a lot of research has gone into the spell to make it even more effective. The Great Energy Beam was the result of these endeavours. It is very similar to the original spell in appearance and in the way it is used, but its effect has been greatly improved. Of course, better performance comes with a price: The mana cost of the Great Energy Beam spell is considerably higher than that of its lesser relative.
With the Beam Mastery, it's capable of increasing its damage and reducing the cooldown of all spells.
History
- In the early days of Tibia, when only Antica existed, paladins were also capable of casting this spell. Later it was changed and paladins could no longer learn it, but those who did before the change could still cast it. Since Update 10.55, the right vocation is required not only to learn a spell, but also to cast it.
- The graphic of this spell was changed in the Winter Update 2007.

- It used to deal less damage than Energy Wave, but that changed when the Wheel of Destiny was implemented in an effort to make Beam Mastery more appealing.
