It is part of the set given to new Sorcerers and Druids in the Island of Destiny and in Dawnport. Used by a lot of mages under level 200 because it is the only mage-exclusive helmet with 2 imbuing slots under said level, which means it can be imbued with Powerful Epiphany (all mage helmets with native Magic level give up to +2), while the second slot can be used for Powerful Void.
