Scale Armor is often among a player's first purchases upon reaching the mainland. Therefore, it is part of the so-called Noob Set. Rumor has it that it is also the armor of Sunrise (on Rookgaard). This can also be gotten by unrusting a Heavily Rusted Armor and Rusted Armor. Obtainable in the Scale Armor Quest.
