Wild Growth Rune

Creates a rune to cast a tree which blocks off 1 square meter.

This spell is similar to a Magic Wall: It creates a tree which lasts for 30 to 60 seconds and blocks one square meter. The main difference is that ammunition, spells and runes may also be shot through Wild Growth.

On Open PvP, Retro Open PvP, Hardcore PvP and Retro Hardcore PvP words, they can be destroyed using a Heavy Machete or Machete. On Optional PvP worlds they can be destroyed by walking over them.

The cost to make one of these runes with regular mana potions and selling the vials is around 135 gps, so having the soul points and the time, it is better to make them with mana potions than buy them on NPC.

This rune became obtainable with the Summer Update 2008, until then Wild Growth an instant spell which would shoot one square in front of the caster, but was changed for more flexibility.

With the Autumn Patch 2009, they became passable on Optional PvP Worlds. With the Update 10.00, the duration of the Wild Growth was changed from fixed 45 seconds to a random duration between 30 and 60 seconds to make it more difficult to create "permanent" blockades.^[1] Then, with the 10.01 Update they were changed again, and became destroyed if a player walks over them (still only on Optional PvP).
