Notes
It spawns every 4 hours, beginning a few seconds after Server Open (not to be confused with Server Save) during Halloween — between the Server Saves of October 31 and November 3. When it appears, all players see the broadcast message: Oh noes! It's a mutated pumpkin!
Once The Mutated Pumpkin is defeated, a portal east of Darashia appears for 30 minutes (here). Players who participated in the fight can skin the corpse to earn the achievement Mutated Presents and receive one of the following rewards:

1 Skeleton Decoration |
| 1 Toy Spider | |
| 1 Pumpkinhead | |
| 1 Surprise Bag (Red) | |

| 1–50 Pumpkins | |
| 1–50 Bars of Chocolate | |
| 20 Yummy Gummy Worms | |
| 50 Candy Canes | |
| 50 Candies |
When exiting the portal returns you to the Darashia Temple. After 5 minutes inside the reward room you're automatically removed with the message:
- You can't bear staying in this room any longer.
Behaviour
Attacks in melee range. The Mutated Pumpkin never retreats.
Strategy
It moves very quickly and frequently changes targets. The best tactic is to trap it in a confined area to restrict its movement, then concentrate your attacks until it is dead.
History
- The Mutated Pumpkin was first introduced during the Halloween event of 2008. Its initial rewards included Spiderwebs, Pumpkins, Candy Canes, Surprise Bag (Red), Bat Decoration, Bar of Chocolate, Skeleton Decoration, Pumpkinhead, and Yummy Gummy Worms.
- Beginning in 2009, players could no longer move or walk over its body to collect rewards; instead, they were required to use an Obsidian Knife. Upon doing so, they would be teleported to the Darashia Depot to prevent others from blocking the corpse. That year, Toy Spider and Surprise Bag (Blue) were also added to the possible rewards.
- In 2011, several changes were made to the event: only the last twenty players to deal damage were eligible for rewards (a restriction later fixed in 2012), and 50 Candies were added to the loot table.
- By 2013, its loot system was converted to the Cooperative Loot System, ensuring that every participant receives 5 Pumpkins and 10 Yummy Gummy Worms, while rare items are distributed among players with the highest participation scores.
