Best-in-Slot Set

This is the best set of equipment for high-level Sorcerers. This set provides the highest magic level and resistances for Sorcerers. Note: other items are available for certain situations that are not listed here.

These sets represent the best or near-best protection for the given elements, not including specific amulets such as Shockwave Amulet, or imbued armors such as Elven Mail.

These are the best sets for their respective level ranges until unlocking Best in Slot equipment (Primal Set, Soul Set, and Sanguine Set). For lower levels, Mage Hat is often the best choice as it allows two Imbuing slots. A tier 1 (Exaltation Forge) Spike Sword is also the best choice, because it can imbued with Powerful Strike. The proficiency perks of Djinn Blade along with its ability to be imbued with Powerful Strike make it the best choice from level 35-80. Note: There are many situational items that will be used depending on the activity, but this is the general progression.
