When Scarlett Etzel turned towards the shadows, her loyal followers turned away from her. Her change in tactics and the more covert approach has led to the hiring of shady characters to reinforce the order. Cobra Scouts are a vital backbone of Scarlett's forces. While they are often used for small errands and basic reconnaissance missions, their true purpose is to act as an extension of Scarlett's reach. They are sent out to all corners of the known world and receive their orders directly from her. They are often the first and probably last glimpse of the complex Cobra network for an outsider to witness.
Behaviour
A cobra scout attacks from a distance. A cobra scout never retreats.
Strategy
Knights should use Chivalrous Challenge to bring them into melee range and kill them, while other vocations should keep moving as ranged creatures attack less often in these cases.
History
- As announced on February 07, 2020, the fourth batch of Hunting Ground Rebalancing changed its XP from 6,600 to 7,920, and increased its drop rate chance by 150%.
- As announced on February 18, 2020, the sixth batch of Hunting Ground Rebalancing changed its XP from 7,920 to 8,712, and increased its drop rate chance to +270% compared to pre-rebalancing.
- As announced on July 28, 2020, the ninth batch of Hunting Ground Rebalancing decreased its drop rate chance to +178% compared to pre-rebalancing.
- As announced on April 15, 2021, the patch changed its XP from 8,712 to 7,310, and reduced its loot by 4%.
- As announced on March 04, 2025, the patch reduced the drop rate of Stone Skin Amulet for this creature, thus changing its rarity from semi-rare to rare.
