- Great Fireball and Heavy Magic Missile Runes for lower level mages

Method
- Go down to the Ancient Temple, near the Thais northern entrace (here
).
- Go down the ladder to the north.
- Follow the white line through the dungeon and climb down the ladder. You will likely encounter Rotworms, Poison Spiders and weaker Orcs.
- There is a room with lots of Poison Gas but you only have to go through four of them. Cast the Antidote spell if you don't want to receive further damage and climb down.
- Down this ladder there are 3 Minotaurs and a few Poison Spiders. Go north following the line. You can also go by a room with Skeletons and do the Ghoul Room Quest now.
- You see a sign.

Enter and die!
- Go up the stairs and you may have to kill three Ghouls that spawn there.
- Go through the Magic Forcefield. Be prepared to face 11 Ghouls spread throughout the room and a Demon Skeleton that spawns at the far end of the room. Use some Great Fireballs to take the Ghouls out quick and kill the Demon Skeleton by shooting Heavy Magic Missiles while running away.
- Open the Dead Human near the Wooden Coffin to find a Brass Armor, a Brass Helmet, a Hatchet and 13 Throwing Stars.
