NameWinter Update 2021
Release DateNovember 29, 2021
SummaryImplementation of the Exaltation Forge and Equipment Upgrade system.
ChangesA number of quality-of-life improvements that ease and assist gameplay. A new bit of map in service of one of the new feature: the Exaltation Forge, located at the north part of the Adventurers' Guild. Two new variants of common creatures: Influenced creatures have a low chance to spawn in place of a regular monster and are stronger versions of the standard version of that creature. They can carry one to five stacks which gives them increased damage and maximum health. Each stack may result in one to three dust when killing an influenced monster. The loot chance of dust is independent of any kind of loot bonuses. How many stacks a creature has is indicated below their name in the game window. Fiendish creatures are even stronger creatures which carry both dust and slivers. Fiendish monsters are considerably rarer than influenced monsters. The direction of the nearest fiendish creature can be obtained by casting the new spell Find Fiend. A fiendish monster always has 15 stacks. The amount of slivers they provide benefit from loot bonuses. Without any bonuses, fiendish monsters drop three to seven slivers. Fiendish monsters spawn as regular monsters and become fiendish afterwards. Only the following can be influenced or fiendish monsters: Monsters that have the "common" occurrence. Monsters that are not part of a raid. Monsters that are not located on Dawnport, Rookgaard, Isle of Destiny, in boss lairs as well as in arenas. Monsters that carry no loot such as those from the "Harmless" difficulty cannot be fiendish, but they can be influenced. Three new resources: In order to get dust, players (or someone in their Party) have to kill influenced or fiendish monsters. They also have to be Premium players. Since dust is not an item, it is not tradeable. The amount of dust a character can carry is limited to 100 at first, however this can be increased to a maximum of 225 by spending dust. Slivers are only obtained by defeating fiendish monsters or by converting dust at the Exaltation Forge. At the same place, slivers can be converted into exalted cores. Unlike dust, slivers are items and can be traded with other players. Exalted Cores are items obtained by converting slivers at the Exaltation Forge. They have to be used to obtain the new permanent bonuses. Three new permanent bonuses: Onslaught: 60% bonus damage (additive to Critical Hits). Ruse: provides a chance of completely avoiding damage from an attack. Momentum: grants a chance every two seconds to reduce all existing spell cooldowns by two seconds if Logout Block (aka battle sign) is present. This affects individual spell cooldown and the secondary group cooldown, but not the primary group cooldown. A new spell: Find Fiend indicates the direction of the nearest fiendish creature. If the nearest fiendish monster is derived from a creature for which a player has completed the bestiary entry, the spell Find Fiend will reveal the creature's difficulty. A new feature will be added to be supported in the XP Analyser and Hunt Analyser to remove any guesswork and manual calculation when figuring out how impactful bonuses are in your experience per hour. A new red overlay option will be added to improve visual clarity when targeting a creature or player. It will be possible to alternate between using only the new red overlay, only the already existing red frame around the target, or both. SummaryImplementation of the Wheel of Destiny, Mitigation, quality of life features, Ingol island and Iksupan area, new equipment and quests, a new mount, and a new outfit
ChangesNew main questline: The Cradle of Monsters Quest, which explores the new island of Ingol that lies between Roshamuul and Marapur. Extension of the Adventures of Galthen Quest with the addition of the Galthen and the City of Gold mission. Explore the new hunting ground known as Iksupan, the legendary city of gold. Its difficulty lies a bit below the Kilmaresh Catacombs. New Imbuements widget which displays the imbuements that each item in your inventory has, in which slot they are, and an indicator that informs how much time is left - for each imbuement on each item. This indicator displays the remaining time exact to the minute. In addition, a colour allows an easier overview: White: you have 3 hours or more left. Yellow: you have between 1 hour and 3 hours left. Red: you have less than 1 hour left. New Gather All option on the context menu of the Reward Chest in the Adventurers' Guild which allow players to put as many items as possible in their inventory, limited only by the character's capacity and the room in backpacks. Reduction of boss cooldowns: Bosses that currently have a cooldown of 1 day or even longer - such as The Last Lore Keeper, Ferumbras Mortal Shell, Mazoran and Razzagorn - will have their cooldown reduced by 4 hours. New hunting area with difficulty lying between Bounac and The Secret Library Quest. The mission Hungry New World of the Krailos Quest is needed to access part of it. New items for levels 250 to 300. New mount: Mutated Abomination. New outfit: Ancient Aucar Outfits. Introduction of the Wheel of Destiny Starting with level 51, all promoted characters on Premium accounts will gain 1 promotion point per level which they can spend (e.g. a level 1000 will have 950 points) Wheel of Destiny contains four domains, each containing nine slices for 36 in total. You can fill the slices with points to improve your character Players start in the center of the Wheel of Destiny, with a limited choice of perks to choose from. As soon as they have filled a initial slice completely, they are able to invest points into the adjacent slices. Thus, they can branch out and make their way towards the outer circle where the strongest perks can be unlocked. Each vocation has a unique wheel with its own spells and effects, with some that overlap. Three perk types are available: Dedication Perks, which have small effects that gradually increase existing characteristics, e.g. HP or mana. Every promotion point invested raises the bonus in question a bit until the maximum number of points possible for the slice Conviction Perks, which have medium to large effects that augment existing spells, grant vocation-specific passive abilities or generally useful bonuses like elemental resistance. A Conviction Perk is unlocked once the respective slice has been filled to the max. Most Conviction Perks can be found more than once within the Wheel of Destiny, and when multiple are unlocked, their effects add up. Revelation Perks, which have powerful effects that grant new spells or strong passive effects with considerable impact. There are four Revelation Perks and each of them is assigned to one of the four domains of the wheel. A Revelation Perk has 3 power stages, and they can be unlocked through spending enough promotion points in the respective domain: 250 points for stage 1,500 for stage 2, and 1000 for stage 3 Shielding rebalance To make shielding skill, shield attributes and combat stances more relevant, an additional way of damage mitigation is implemented. Mitigation reduces all damage of the common damage types (Physical, Earth, Ice, Fire, Energy, Holy and Death) by a percentage. This percentage will be calculated based on several factors: shielding skill choice of equipment (e.g. shield vs two-handed weapon, defense value of equipment) choice of combat stance (offensive, balanced or defensive) Mitigation will benefit players as well as monsters, including bosses, so expect some of them to be harder after the update The Protector spell is adjusted so that its increase of the shielding skill will be reduced. Instead of raising the skill to 220%, it will now raise it to 135%. Due to the addition of Mitigation, the spell's actual impact is expected to be greater after the update. All bows and crossbows will increase mitigation on Paladins. Monster damage rebalance: after the update, Medium Monsters will deal ~1% more damage, Hard Monsters ~3% more, and Challenging Monsters ~5% more. This will have no impact on bosses. Other changes The minimum size of the Tibia windowed mode increased to 1024x720

Four new Conviction Perks, called Vessel Resonance, are introduced. Characters with Vessel Resonance matching the gem size of the gem put into the domain's vessel are granted a bonus of +1 to both damage and healing, with the bonus increasing to +2 in case of Greater Gems. To compensate the reduction in Conviction Perks, every character reaching level 51 in the future, or those already at level 51 or higher at release, will be granted eight gems with elemental resistance Mods.
