Varg

The Vargs are a twisted legacy of the Norcferatu's former war wolves - once loyal beasts, now vile remnants of corrupted loyalty. When these creatures began to show agitation in the presence of their vampiric masters, something in their nature was changing. Perhaps it was the residue of their once proud spirit, or simply the side effects of unnatural feeding. Subjected to a strict and relentless regimen of Norcferatu blood, tainted further by the eldritch rituals of the Nightweavers, they began to mutate. Their bodies elongated, bones cracked and reformed, and leathery wings tore from their shoulders as if erupting in protest against their masters.

What remains is a monster both majestic and terrifying - a bat-winged wolf-beast with a twisted snout and gleaming, ever-hungry eyes. The Vargs retained the pack instinct but twisted it into something more akin to a cult. They communicate in snarls and shrieks, flying in eerie synchronicity. Their airborne assaults are devastating, their accuracy uncanny, as if they could smell the heartbeat of their prey.

Though once bound to their creators, the Vargs now serve only out of fear or bloodlust. Their loyalty is thin, their rage vast, and any who think them mere beasts are bound to discover just how cunning an airborne predator with a vampire's thirst can be.
