01/05/2012 edit: For now I will just give up trying to make all these templates work in different browsers. Right now they're behaving too inconsistently - they were pretty much spot on in Opera and (good enough in) IE, but at the same time awful in Firefox and IE compatibity mode. It seems the positioning is really off is some browsers - and I mean really off.
