Aren't they all summoned by the portals or are there some inside the room "by default" and those give experience? I thought all were summoned... Kseni Of Chimera

Not all of them are summoned by the hellish portals, there's some that are summoned "by default". That's what I found out hunting Hellgorak. Soulslayer 15:48, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

I've been watching some cams of Hellgorak hunts and the person who cams always gets hit 70-90 with the drown attacks. The Dreadbeasts hit each other 18-23 (25% of 70-90) and they hit Hellgorak 214-275 (305% of 70-90). Also when Hellgorak hits with his fireball attack they get hit 45% of the fire damage the person who cams get hit.
So I'm changing drown hit to 70-90, drown resistance to 25% and fire resistance to 45%. Oh, and I tried to calculate their hitpoints. I think they have 800 so I'm putting that.

Are you sure thats it's drown damage? So using a Helmet of the Deep would be a good strategy

Helmet of the Deep is protection of drowning 100% not protect agains drown damage. Like firewalking buts protects burning but does not helps agains fire attacks.

I was hunting water elementals for test this protection and i didn't receive damage from their drown explosions, so it showes that helmet of the deep give protection from drowing and drown damage.
