Most times the bear will either run away or try to hit you (when this happens the slingshot doesn't break).
History
Slingshot was implemented with Summer Update 2006, but it was an Unobtainable Item until Winter Update 2010 when it was sold by NPC Grizzly Adams and dropped by Hunter (and could be used to tame War Bear). The price was supposed to be 100,000 gp, but due to a bug, players were able to get it for 34,463 gp, and CipSoft decided to keep it for approximately this price.
