Sineater Inferniarch

As pure manifestations of fury and chaos, beings driven by their ancestral hunger to consume and corrupt all they touch, all inferniarchs florish in evil. But the Sineater is a grotesque and fearsome demon that specifically feeds on the corruption within souls. With the ability to ignite cursed flames wherever sin has taken root, these creatures have spread across the known world, feeding off the tainted. Alarmingly, their presence is not limited to any one region, indicating that corruption is far more widespread than most are willing to admit. They cannot function near pure souls or on holy ground, which they avoid like the plague. It is said that those pure of heart can walk freely past a Sineater unscathed, but for the wicked, the flames that follow in the Sineater's wake are inescapable and devouring. Where there is darkness in the soul, the Sineater thrives, growing stronger with each sin it consumes.
