Lokana

Lokana is the base name of several characters which log onto the servers in order to determine if the it is operating properly, from the perspective of a player. If there is any delay or Lokana is unable to login this informs the System Administrators that something is wrong. This is a fictitious CipSoft member.

The actual characters are named Lokana Server, for example, Lokana Antica. It used to be possible to see them logging in/out by adding them to the VIP list, but not anymore. Also, sometimes they'll be visible logging in the temple of Thais.
