Iceplume Strider

Iceplume striders are constructs made from ice and shaped like long-legged birds. They bear a distant resemblance to the moas that inhabit Marapur. They are hollow and can be filled with various liquids: mana fluid, acid, blood - whatever the asuri find useful. The frost flower asuri created these constructs by shaping them from ice and enhancing them with moonsilver. Now they guard and patrol the old asura citadel beneath the Emerald Gardens of Marapur. Despite their fragile appearance, iceplume striders move with surprising speed and precision. With each step, their bodies crack faintly, shedding sharp tiny fragments of ice. When they attack, they strike with their long, pointed beaks, injecting their victims with the fluids they have been filled with.
