Falcon Paladins are members of the Order of the Falcon. A once honourable and revered order of knights. They fell victim to a curse centuries ago and are now mere shadows of their former, noble self. The powerful paladins are masters of the bow and crossbow. Their arrows rarely miss and whatever still stands where one of them hits, is brought to fall by the other paladin you didn't see. Their will to protect the order is unbroken and they are formidable enemies on almost every account.
Behaviour
Despite being a Paladin and using distance attacks, the Falcon Paladin stays near its target.
A falcon paladin attacks in melee range. A falcon paladin never retreats.
Strategy
The Falcon Paladin uses one of its three distance attacks almost every turn, which means 400-500 certain damage, up to 800 if you are in melee range, and sometimes up to 1200 if you also take the damage from the Energy Beam. Energy Damage Protection will greatly reduce the damage taken from 2 of its attacks, so it's extremely recommended, together with Physical Damage Protection.
History
- Its experience was decreased from 8200 to 4920 with the fourth batch of changes of Update 12.31. It was later increased to 6544 with the seventh batch of changes.
- As announced on March 28, 2024, the patch increased its XP from 6,544 to 6,900 as part of the 2024 Balancing Project.
- As announced on March 04, 2025, the patch added a "very rare" chance of looting Stone Skin Amulet from this creature.
