Ghost-like remnants of individuals full of greed and evil to the core. Many of them foremen and overseers in life, they still come to check on their spectral workforce from time to time and help out lesser ghosts with their aggressive charges and furious attacks.
Evil Prospectors will only spawn in Barren Drift after an unknown (but low) amount of Luminescent Crystals is mined. When this happens they will spawn all around the cave as a raid. After being killed, they do not seem to respawn unless a new raid is triggered by mining more crystals.
Behaviour
An evil prospector attacks from a distance. An evil prospector never retreats.
History
- As announced on March 04, 2025, the patch added a "semi-rare" chance of looting Stone Skin Amulet from this creature.
- As announced on June 17, 2025, the patch changed its XP from 9,000 to 9,800, increased fire and ice sensitivity from 100% to 105%, and reduced fire damage reflection from 100% to 0%.
- As announced on July 08, 2025, the patch increased its gold gain by approximately 26%.
