History
It could be charged with the Critical Hits bonus by asking Yana for it till Summer Update 2017. There were three levels of charging:
On the same update, this weapon received 3 imbuing slots and its attack and defense values were adjusted to the to values of its heavily charged version.
With the Winter Update 2017, Axe of Carving, Axe of Mayhem and Axe of Remedy were merged into 
Axe of Destruction.
