Go to the northeastern edge of the Newhaven island, and take the stairs hereto the second floor of the Corrupted Mines. Head southwest and climb up through the hole directed above here— the Rope Spot on the ground is quite subtle. Walk east until you pass through the Poison Gas wall. In the image bellow, the gold coins mark the path you need to follow to reach the eastern end of the cave.

Newhaven Legion Helmet Quest Room

Use the Dead Human to get the reward. The Magic Forcefield near the body will teleport the character back to the western end of the cave.
